Applications for filling up for the Stenographer and Junior Stenographer posts in the Registry of the High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, are invited from the desirous eligible graduate candidates. Advertisement No.HHC/Admn.2 (23)/82-VI- Dated 10.07.2013. Age Limit: 45 Years as on 31st July 2013. Qualifications: Stenographers - Graduation. The candidate shall have to pass English Stenography test at the speed of 110 words per minutes to be transcribed within a period five times the period taken to dictate, and typing test at the speed of 40 words per minute. Note - Allowance of 10% mistakes inclusive of left out words shall be given while calculating the speed. Junior Scale Stenographers Graduation Minimum speed in short hand and typing shall be 100 words per minute and 30 words per minute, respectively. The matter dictated in short hand shall have to be transcribed within a period five times the time taken to dictate. Note - The Chief Justice may grant relaxation in speed up to 10%.
